Meyda Tiffany Opens Recycling Center For Clean Styrofoam, Bubble Wrap and Other Packaging Materials

 

Yorkville, NY-based Meyda Tiffany has opened a Recycling Center that will recycle and reuse your clean Styrofoam, bubble wrap, and packaging materials FREE OF CHARGE and save you money on trash removal.  Help avoid overuse of our landfills.  Meyda Tiffany is offering this service as part of its environmental conservation program and public service efforts. Meyda Tiffany is the nation’s leading designer and manufacturer of Tiffany lamps, decorative and custom lighting.

The firm’s recycling center is located inside its factory adjacent to the Meyda Tiffany lighting showroom at 55 Oriskany Boulevard in Yorkville.  

Residents may drop off the materials Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm, or Saturday 10:00am to 5:00pm.  Please use either the Showroom or Corporate Entrance.  

According to Meyda Tiffany President Robert Cohen, “Many residents and businesses are looking to dispose of their Styrofoam, bubble wrap and packing materials.  Many of these people have to pay a fair amount of money for special garbage removal.  This service is free and will help save them money while preserving our environment.” 

Meyda Tiffany will convert clean Styrofoam and bubble wrap into packing materials that can be reused when the firm ships stained glass lamps, lighting fixtures and stained glass windows to customers across the nation.
